Working Together

There are many ways our paths may cross at Northwoods.

You may find me through individual therapy, join me on a yoga mat, attend a workshop, or simply come looking for a place to learn, connect, and become a little more curious about yourself.

However you arrive, I want Northwoods to feel human.

You don't need to have everything figured out. You don't need to know the right words, have a certain level of experience, or show up as anything other than yourself.

We'll begin where you are.

What It's Like to Work With Me

I believe some of the most meaningful work happens when we have space to slow down, become curious, and let go of the idea that we need to do everything "right."

Whether we're together in therapy, yoga, a workshop, or community setting, you can expect me to bring warmth, curiosity, humor, compassion, and a deep respect for your own experience.

I may invite you to notice your breath or your body.

We may move.

We may reflect.

We may learn something about the nervous system.

We may laugh.

And sometimes we may simply sit with what is here.

There isn't a script you have to follow.

You are always invited to listen to yourself.

Schedule a free 15-minute consultation where we'll talk about what's bringing you here, answer any questions you have, and see if Northwoods feels like the right fit for you.

You'll be taken to my secure SimplePractice scheduling portal. Click "I'm a New Client", then select "Initial Consultation – No Charge”

More Than Therapy

Northwoods was never meant to exist only inside the therapy room.

Healing and growth can happen in many places.

In movement.

In nature.

In community.

In learning something that suddenly helps you understand yourself differently.

In resting.

In laughter.

In the quiet moments when you realize you're beginning to respond to yourself with a little more compassion.

That's why Northwoods includes therapy, yoga, workshops, education, and opportunities for community and connection.

You may come for one of those things.

You may explore several.

There is no expectation that your path needs to look a certain way.

Healing Takes Root

Healing is a lot like the forest.

There are seasons of growth and seasons of rest. Times for letting go, times for becoming curious, and times when simply staying rooted is enough.

We don't have to rush what is still growing beneath the surface.

Wherever you are in your own season, you are welcome to begin there.

Slow is allowed.

Curiosity is welcome.

And you don't have to become someone new to begin.
