Payment

Northwoods Velvaere Studio is a private pay practice.
Payment is due at the time of each session.

Accepted payment methods
• Credit card
• Debit card
• HSA and FSA cards
(All processed securely through SimplePractice.)

Fees

• Initial Intake (60 minutes): $210
• Individual Session (50 minutes): $155
• Semi bono Session (50 minutes): $55
(Limited availability semi bono clients at a time.)

Insurance

Northwoods Velvaere Studio does not accept insurance.
If your plan offers out of network benefits, a superbill can be provided upon request.
Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual plan.

Insurance-based sessions are available through River Walk Counseling.

Good Faith Estimate

If you do not have insurance or choose not to use insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your therapy.
This estimate is provided during your intake process.

Scheduling

Sessions may be scheduled weekly, bi weekly, or monthly, depending on your needs and goals.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide 24 hours notice.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice or no show appointments will be charged an $85 cancellation fee.

Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential within legal limits.
Information is only shared with your written consent unless required by law.
